Today, we're proud to announce the launch of Cyprus Airways VA — a retro virtual airline honoring the legacy of the original Cyprus Airways, which closed its wings for the final time on 9 January 2015.
For decades, Cyprus Airways was the national carrier of Cyprus, connecting the island to destinations across Europe and the Middle East. Its retirement marked the end of an era for Cypriot aviation — but its spirit lives on today through our community.
Cyprus Airways VA brings that legacy back to the skies in the virtual world. We fly the classic routes, liveries and aircraft that once carried the Cyprus Airways name, giving flight simmers the chance to relive the golden age of this iconic airline — flying real-world schedules for authenticity.
